Our Team

Our coaches have worked in the health and fitness industry since 2004. We have trained at big box gyms, assisted at physical therapy clinics, and taught at boutique fitness studios. 

Our experiences inspired us to create a training space that is welcoming and staffed by knowledgeable coaches. We foster a community culture that invites anyone and everyone interested in elevating their physical fitness. Our coaches prioritize movement integrity, technical mastery, and consistent, progressive training to help clients reach and surpass goals.

We meet each client where they are, regardless of age, sex, ability and athletic background and together we determine an appropriate training plan. Our mission is to empower the members of our community to progress individually and, through their own fitness journey, discover the best version of themselves.

Alexandra Karaer

owner and coach

Alex has been a certified trainer since 2002 as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She spent the first ten years of her training career juggling her full-time job in economic research with her passion for working in fitness. After leaving her corporate job in 2013, she focused completely on training to open her gym one day.

Alex is credentialed through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also holds certifications as a USAW Level 2 Weightlifting Coach, USAPL Club Coach and is trained as a Strong First Level 2 kettlebell instructor.

She can work with many clients, from beginners to more experienced lifters seeking more advanced coaching help. Alex emphasizes the development of proper mobility and good lifting techniques to establish a solid foundation for ongoing gains while minimizing the risk of injury.

Alexander Argueta

owner and coach

Alex is a certified personal trainer who has been certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Additionally, he is certified as a USAW Level 2 Weightlifting Coach and is trained as a Strong First Level 2 kettlebell instructor. With over fifteen years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Alex has helped numerous clients reach their fitness goals. His expertise enables him to customize workouts for clients of varying ages, abilities, and athletic backgrounds.

James Williams

coach

James is a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and corrective exercise specialist with a background in sport-specific strength and conditioning. He is credentialed through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).

He was a multi-sport youth athlete and ultimately chose to pursue wrestling at the collegiate level. His background in athletics inspired his integrative approach to coaching which emphasizes training for physical and mental well-being. He believes in combining fun with function and is dedicated to offering a customized approach to meet his clients' goals.
